Thanks ahead of time to everyone who helps me on my next stage of my journey. Hanging a freakin frame.

I recently received the letter from CBA(CA) saying my application has been approved and they just need $25 more as an initial license fee. I mailed the extra tedious payment yesterday( just add the $25 to the $50 application fees CBA).

Anyway I am hoping they send me the diploma(or is it called destingnation?)

So basically I would like to hang it the day I receive it. I already have the nail, but would love some recommendations on good frames. I am kind of frugal, and probably will get a mid tier frame, but it would be interesting to see how other people are presenting their piece of paper.

Also what size is it?

Size varies from state-to-state, so can't help you on that piece.

However, I went pretty far on the frugal side. This is the frame I got:

When I got it, it was $7.99 plus tax. I don't like big gaudy frames, so it suited me…and it was cheap. (Note that in KY, the certificate size was such that I didn't need or use any matting, just put the certificate straight in the frame.) I'm sure it would look more impressive on my office wall if I put matting around it and used a bigger frame, but I like simple decorations, so I like it the way it is. Simple, cheap, and to the point.

My certificate is about 13X15. I went to Hobby Lobby for the frame and matting it was about $200!

sbarker's profile says they're from Mississippi so that's a no go for us in Cali size-wise. Hobby Lobby is pretty awesome though.

I've read that the California certificate is 14″ x 17″. Sounds like I'm a few weeks behind you in this whole process so I'll be stalking this thread for more answers.
