I have just recently received my bachelors degree in Accounting, and have a bachelors degree in hospitality management. I have contacted and mailed paperwork (transcripts) to NASBA.org to see if i qualify to take the CPA, I should be fine. I have purchased the review Wiley CPA Plus Platinum and considering paying monthly for Ninja. If I start studying August 1, and schedule first exam within September 10th will I be fine? I am going to study 4 hours per day, estimate of 120 hours of study time, I will either take Reg. or Far. first. I would appreciate any insight, I AM NERVOUS!!!

I needed more time for REG and FAR than 5 weeks but I was working FT with a family at home. 4 hours per day is plenty, 120 hours total is plenty. I wonder why you'd wait until August to start studying if you have the materials ahead of time?

    FAR 04/11/2016 - 84
    AUD 05/12/2016 - 79
    BEC 07/06/2016 - 81
    REG 08/29/2016

The testing timeline i recommend is FAR, AUD, BEC and then REG. FAR takes the most time to study. So if you take it first, the amount of time you spent studying for it will not count towards the 18 month time limit. Some parts of AUD are closely related to FAR, so it is a good idea to take that while the information from FAR is still fresh in your mind. The same is true between AUD and BEC (lots of overlapping in terms of internal control). REG is tough and has almost zero similarities with the other 3 sections, but since it's your last hurdle you are more motivated to try harder than ever.

I also agree with what Bhunt815 said that you shouldn't wait until August 1st. Yes in theory you might be able to pass with the amount of hours you put in, but you never know what might happen in between. Sometimes personal or professional life gets in the way or you might not be achieving the target scores on your practice tests and need more time.

I Disagree with TommyL. REG is a beast. FAR, REG, BEC, AUD in my opinion. Because you recently graduated you may can switch the order of AUD and BEC but for sure FAR than REG.
