    Hi all,

I’m wondering if we can start a thread on this.

I have a test expiring on 5/31/2020, and I’d like to think the expiration date will automatically be extended at some point, but I’m getting very little information from Google on whether I need to contact someone (NASBA?) and ask for an extension, or just wait for an announcement (because they are getting flooded with questions).

Anyone have any links or correspondence you can share?

I’m in CT. I’m sure this is going to vary by state.

    Thanks, G.P.

@Mike – Sorry for not responding sooner, but I found that information on PA state board of accountancy. I do not think you are soft for thinking that at all, and I agree, there should be an extension that goes beyond those impacted by this. I'm scheduled to sit for my last exam on May 19th, but I've yet to receive any confirmation. I have my first exam expiring in October. In the event that this does get canceled, it looks like the next open seat would be in August. If that's the case, I miss out on an entire testing window, and if August is the earliest I'm able to sit, then I miss out on being able to utilize continuous testing. As far as Pa is concerned, being granted an extra 180 days is huge!

I feel like anyone with a passing score which will expire regardless should get an extension though. Mine will expire 4/2021 and feel it should be extended still. This pandemic is affecting everyone.
