This may be common knowledge to others, but if you’re like me and just recently passed all exams in Q1 and were wondering when to expect your letter, I just found this on NASBA:

If you tested through jurisdictions represented by CPA Examination Services (CPAES) – except Florida – you will receive a congratulatory letter from CPAES upon passing the entire CPA Examination. This letter will provide you with further instructions on how to obtain your license, per your Board’s qualifications. All other candidates will receive additional instruction regarding the licensure application process directly from their Board of Accountancy.

Letters mailed by CPAES will be sent to you by the following dates:

    January/February testing window: April 15
    April/May testing window: July 15
    July/August testing window: October 15
    October/November testing window: January 15

I hope they are keeping proper track of scores because two of my passes are only listed on the old site and one is on the new site, are your scores also split up?

Sucks that they are taking that long to send them out. I sat February 26th and found out I'm done on March 7th. My State board (SC) isn't meeting to approve scores until April 24th, so it will be at least that long until I get to add the letters behind my name.

Why do I care? My boss won't push through my bonus until I receive a congratulatory letter or the board approves my scores…

Nate – It took about two weeks after my final score posted for the new site for it to show up on CPA Central with the other scores.

Redneck – I feel your pain, everything about this process is long, painful, and far from simple. Even things you think would be simple, such as applications and score releases. But on the bright side, at least you're getting a bonus at all!
