    Hi ,

I had Pass FAR, REG and now studying for BEC and then AUD. My exam is scheduled for MAY 7 for BEC and AUD for 10th june . Its hard to focus and i am loosing hope . Really exhausted. I had to pass by Nov 30 all 4 parts. It took me 2 attempts for reg and 3 for FAR. I was thinking i have 3 windows left and i have three chances to pass. But i am so stress out that i cannot focus. Problem with me is my first attempt i sit only to see where i stand in knowledge. I usually get between 60-65. Second attempt my score shoot up by 10 points. BEC i am scoring between 60-70 depending on MC. Also i have no speed in typing for sims and my writhing skills are bad , so i had to focus more on MC as it 80% of the BEC exam .And that not it , on top of it i am horrible test taker. MY confidence level is low .Just to gauge myself i took BEC after studying for 3 weeks and got 60. Now i know where i stand. Any advise how to over come my weakness. Any help is greatly appreciated.

@cpa007: I think it is definitely worth taking a once over of those more complicated questions just to really test whether or not you know the formulas inside and out. Otherwise I would focus on doing the more basic calcs as many have said the actual exam tend to shy away from very complicated questions. For the written communication prompts they are informal and kind of give you a little story. This is off the top of my head and not one of my previous test prompts but for example, “your manager was asked by the CFO to research the benefits of switching to the LIFO method to account for their inventory. Your company currently uses the FIFO method. Write a memo explaining to your manager the advantages and disadvantages of using LIFO instead of FIFO.” that is just an example of a topic i saw in my becker book. therefore, to answer your question the topics are mainly around FAR topics. however, do not stress if you do not know the topic and or the right answer. you can bs your entire answer even if it is wrong and still get a great WC score! i am the perfect example of that. i performed stronger on the WC even though I barely knew what i was talking about. hope this helps!

    AUD - 69, 77
    REG - 74, 81
    FAR - 75!
    BEC - 71, 82

    IL candidate!

    Finally done (5/24/16)!! Yahooooooo!

This is a complicated questions CPA007. I had a very difficult time with cost and managerial accounting, in college and with the BEC exam in particular. I spent a disproportionate amount of time studying that area and I failed my first two exams because I neglected other areas. That being said, I backed away from that area on my third attempt and focused more broadly on all the subjects – and i passed.
You must know all of the subjects, but if you find yourself getting hung up on one particular concept you may want to step back and keep moving forward so you don't leave entire sections untouched. It is hard balance. You need to know the ratios and you should have probably gone over them by now with the other exams.

I never learn how to type. My answer was to leave more than 15% exam time for the writing.

Maybe I should have waited for the new document review sections. Those look super easy.
