so i have my REG NTS scheduled in october, but i am re-taking FAR in october so i don’t forget it. my reg is expiring Oct. 15th, and i scheduled it for that date. can i just no show and let the NTS run out even though i scheduled it, or should i cancel it online?

South Dakota gives you a 95 dollar refund if you do a no show.

I don't know if it would be the same if it was expiring….contact your state board

If you no show…you won't be able to take that section until the next quarter. If you let your NTS expire, you could re-apply for a new one…and take the test before the window closes on Dec 10th. It depends on whether you want to take it this year or not.

Im taking FAR and audit this year, and plan to take REG in March, so i don't really care about the expiring. i just want to know if theres any penalty from prometric if i have a test scheduled and i just don't show up. or since I'm in MA can i get an extension to next year first quarter or a refund?

I would cancel your appointment even if they don't charge you since you aren't planning on taking it either way it sounds. Not only as a courtesy to Prometric, but also to give other people who may be waiting for an appointment date/time the option to take it.
