I was reading the posts about the Aug score release for Q2 test takers and I agree, it’s completely ridiculous. I guess then (and correct me if I am wrong) but since there’s no way to find out if you passed, you either keep studying or just wait. In my case, I am hoping I can pass AUD this quarter so I am left with FAR but even then, I think it’ll be in my best interest to keep studying rather than wait around and forget the content. Considering some of the smartest people I know have failed FAR at least once, I should not get my hopes too high and waste time waiting around. Thoughts?

My question is: The exam seats in the 2 weeks soon after score release in Aug until end of Q3 window are gonna get filled up pretty soon considering the amount of applicants and shortage of time. If I take FAR in Q2 and wish to retake in Q3 (depending on how I feel after exam) will NASBA allow me to apply for an NTS and schedule a retake in Q3 even before the results are out?

no you have to wait for you score. get the score on the 16th, apply for the NTS right away (have to wait a day), and pray that your state can give you the NTS in time to take it between August 16th – September 10th.

THIS IS CRAZY!! I'm freaking out now.. B/c I have until the end of 2017 and I HAVE to take FAR in 2Q2017.

If I miss the Q3 window I'll only have Q4 to retake..

How are they reconciling the huge wait time for score release????

This is crazy. I am in a similar boat. FAR expires 7/31 for me and I wont know if I pass BEC until August. Bottom line anyone in the middle of their 18 month window basically loses a entire window with this 10 week score delay. This process is stressful and expensive enough, I can’t believe guidance on this has not been released.

I just took FAR but Im assuming i didnt pass and will have to take again Q2. If I pass I'm done but if I dont then I have until August 31 to take it and pass before I lose credit for REG. I emailed the NASBA to see if there were any exceptions or accommodations for people in situations like this. Had to take a shot.

I predict I will get an email back with a picture of a middle finger and “LOL” written below it.

I still can't find any REG spots available anywhere.
