I know it won’t help me at all, BUT would it hurt my standing as a CPA exam candidate if I called the NASBA after today’s liquid lunch and shouted obscenities at them for their bullshit assessment of my AUD exam?

You'll get varying feedback on AUD but here's my .02, it is strictly rote memorization unlike other sections where you can somewhat rationalize and figure out the answer based on an understanding of concepts.

I was the type of student who loved math & science and LOATHED history because its nothing but memorization.

So after my 2nd fail of aud I took the ninja notes and copied them word for word, ten pages per day (while hammering MCQ). That very wise jeff guy suggested copying and recopying notes was the best way to retain information and since his notes were the best thats what I copied! (besides if I failed I planned to blame him entirely for “bad” advice.) Ended up with an 84. Go figure.

@ Jeff, you are the man! I draw a lot of inspiration just by looking at your scores. Taking these tests 16 times, never gave up and still starting this forum that has helped millions of people. Today after passing all sections with ninja MCQ, my hat goes down for you! You are the man!

Tony – I finally managed to look back at my performance in Gleim leading up to the exam. Gleim uses an “adaptive learning technology” that was killing me in the last 2 days before the exam. It purposefully selects questions in areas you have struggled. I was doing 30 MCQ's at a time and 5 times in a row I scored 67. I would do a test, get a 67, take a walk/drive/go fishing and then do it again. I re read chapters, still a 67. I was ready to cry.

Then I turned OFF the adaptive learning and took another quiz. Scored 93. Took another quiz, 80. Those were the last 2 quizzes I took before the exam. Average 93 & 80 and you get 86.66666 – my Aud score was 87. I readily admit that correlation is not causation, but I submit that the Gleim Test Bank score should be pretty close to your actual test score for MCQ's.

    B - 11/11/16
    A - 4/16/16 87!!
    R - 2/17/17
    F - 7/26/16 - Waiting for 8/23
