Yikes! I sent in my application/remittance to retake REG on Sept 20th. CA Board officially “received” it Sept 29th and now they say there’s up to more 3 weeks until I get my NTS! Yikes. They are understaffed and seriously behind, but I really, really need to retake REG in November.
    Fingers crossed!

    AUD 88 (expired), 80 retake
    FAR 64,69,67,73,67,73,73,73, August 3
    REG 75 (expired) September 7
    BEC 72, 77

    The adventure continues...

I'm in a different state, but I sent my application and transcripts in on 9/15. It said application received on 9/16. Yesterday, I checked and my status said “incomplete.” I called to see why and they said they haven't received or processed my transcripts yet. They said processing the transcripts can take up to 3 weeks. They said once transcripts are processed, it could take up to 6 weeks to process the application. Once you get your nts, I believe you can't schedule for another five days. So basically, it's going to take me 10 weeks from the time I applied until the time I can actually take my exam.

I hope yours doesn't take this long!! (and hoping mine miraculously doesn't either)

@CPA50 – CA's process on this is awful. I usually send my remittance app in earlier than planned just so I can schedule asap but I didn't do that this time around (hoping I'd actually passed REG, but didn't) and am slammed trying to schedule end of Oct. So stressful. After every test, I tell the AICPA the CA board needs a lot of help. More funds, resources, something. From my memory, after you see your portal show they've received the payment, it's almost exactly 3 weeks until I get the approval. THen just a few more days for NASBA's payment coupon and such. Then finding a seat is the scary part. It's all awful.

    BEC - 74, 77
    FAR - 72, 71 (retake 7/29)
    REG - 69
    AUD - Q4 '16
