I had two business law classes in college like I’m sure most of us did. However, Reg BLaw is just so different.

I actually enjoyed the tax stuff in Reg and I do pretty well there. Averaging 80s on MC. However, I totally bomb BLaw questions. Any tips?

Focus on tax law. If you have Becker, know R-1 through R-4 like the back of your hand. Blaw is also not tested in any of the SIMs which automatically makes up 40% of the exam. I'd go through it once, maybe twice, but don't dwell on it.

Is the reading all in legalese and not in English? I enjoyed my business law class that I took a few years ago. The professor was a riot and in his exams, he used the students' last names in all the problems. I think I got ran over by a car in one of the problems.

I'm taking REG mid-July and am 3/4 of the way through the tax stuff. Decided to get the tax stuff out of the way before doing business law. Not sure if that was the best decision considering how CPA Excel STILL hasn't updated REG yet. When I asked, they said 2016 stuff won't be tested till August. Think they are full of shit but anyways….

@circadian malfunction They tried to tell me that the material wouldn't be tested until August. Support and one of the instructors told me this. I'm pretty sure they are wrong and when I asked here Jeff said July.
