For those who have recently graduated college and went straight into public accounting, what was your starting salary for an associate position at the Big 4?

It seems like that forum is geared towards all accounting positions, I'm specifically looking for entry level salary at the big 4.

This answer is going to vary based on location. Also, if you are a recent grad I believe the Big 4 have a set range there is not much room for negotiating. I could be wrong. When I worked at Big 4 I came in as an experienced hire and I was able to negotiate my salary.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

AnnuityDue, to give you a more or less definite answer people would need to know your (1) preferred service line (i.e., audit, tax, advisory), preferably which group you'll be starting with; (2) location (state and office) and (3) education (i.e., JD/accounting degree, masters/bachelors etc).

Overall, 50K is average. Seen less than that, seen more than that. So it depends.

    AUD - passed
    REG - passed
    BEC - passed
    FAR - passed
