I do tons of multiple choice but do not feel ready for the SIMS. When I took it before, it was a lot of journal entries. What is the best way to familiarize myself with them? Youtube? Open up the old intermediate book?

Do you think i should mainly focus on bond and lease entries?

Do JE's for all MCQs even if you don't need to do them. If you don't know how, crack that intermediate book or go to that website with all the basic ones. Do this over and over until you are more familiar than you are now.

That's what I plan on doing for my third re-take next month.

    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81 (third attempt)
AUD - waiting for score 8/23
REG - 09/08/2016 - going to cram and wing it

    OH Ethics - Completed

Basically what KSOZE said – know how to think through the journal entry for a problem. JE's are just a different way of approaching solving a problem; if you can figure out what needs to happen (ex: bonds payable at the end of the problem should be $400,000, started at $650,000, so it needs to go down $250,000), then you can learn how to make the JE's to get from the start of the problem to the end. Personally I believe the important thing is being able to solve the problem; if you can do that, then all you need to learn is how to think backwards through what you did to figure out what JE's result in the solution that you've already determined. So, use any problems you have (MCQs etc.), figure out the solution, and then stop for a minute and think through the JE's, till you're able to figure out the JE's as easily as you can figure out the solution.
