Best method to get through MC practice?

So I’m in review mode for FAR with roughly 3.5 weeks till test time. My current review method is to review my notes for a chapter, do a 33 MC progress test for that chapter, then all SIMs for it. Then move on to the next chapter. I do this over the course of about 2 days per chapter. At the end I’ll have 1.5 weeks or so for More progress and practice tests.

However, I’m running into problems with progress exams. I’m afraid I’m not getting exposed to enough type of questions per chapter, plus I can’t see my answers till the end so I’m having trouble learning and getting thru them.

What’s a way that I could better practice MC once through? Doing all the module HW questions would take too long, should I just do a few from each module for this first time thru before I finish review with mainly progress tests? Thanks

Answering your question with another set of questions:

    1) How did you study for BEC, AUD, and REG?
    2) What test bank are you using?
    3) How far into the material are you?

Depending on what system you use, to “focus on your weaknesses” may involve a unique tactic. I highly recommend you do so; however, since there's so much material for FAR that you cannot realistically expect to be an expert on everything.

    1) I studied by completely rereading the textbook while taking notes, then doing 24 question progress tests, leaving a few days at the end for practice tests and more progress tests. It was helpful for memorizing the information but not as good for application. I ended up doing a total of maybe 400 MC questions before the exam. While it obviously worked for me, I couldn't imagine rereading the entire FAR textbook. Way too much application rather than qualitative info I think, it would've taken me 3 weeks. I'm just not used to not reviewing as much material and jumping into MC for learning now
    2) Becker
    3) I'm done with lectures and am now reviewing, going through my notes and then doing a progress test and SIMs before moving to the next chapter. Kinda a preliminary run through and then planning to have 1.5 weeks to do a bunch of MC progress tests basically.

I think my solution might be to just do shorter progress tests so that I can get through them faster and see the answers faster. I'm still learning a lot through the progress tests so it's not that helpful to “test” myself too much at this point.

I'm currently using Becker for REG and the progress tests were the reason I ended up getting Ninja's test bank. I hate that Becker doesn't have an option to see the answers right away. If you want to spend a few extra bucks, I recommend Ninja MCQs. It bumped my average scores up 20 points in a matter of two weeks. I find that their explanations are much more helpful than Becker's.

To have fewer repeat questions on Becker, expand the number of MCQs you do in one session. I usually do about 40-100 MCQs per session and for each set of 10, I answer all the easy questions first and then go back to do the harder questions.
