Hi Ninjas,

So I have only 3 more months to study before the big change. I’ve tried to finish as many as possible and done with REG and FAR so far.

I don’t think I can pass 2 subjects in 3months so I must choose one between AUD and BEC.
Some people say that I should study BEC because it will be more difficult than AUD after the change.

Which subject do guys think I have to go for? Never studied both of them.

Please advise. Thanks!

In my opinion these are the 2 easiest exam subjects, certainly the 2 with the least material.

I could see the audit exam getting much harder if they are trying to increase the testing of your cognitive ability, start giving you more complex audit simulations then you currently see on the exam. BEC on the other hand has the easiest simulations section so that can only get more difficult.

Just my 2 cents…but I'd do BEC. In audit, I think it'll get more complicated but still doable, but BEC…lord knows how they are going to test you in the future.

I suggest doing BEC first and then Audit, the understanding and knowledge of COSO material on BEC will help you when you study for AUD as well..
