BEC – Practiced Very Few MCQs

    Hi all,

I gave myself a very small amount of time to prepare for BEC (14 days). I spent the first week reading the book and five days of reading it again and taking notes on key subjects. The only MCQs I have done are those in the book. Overall I feel very confident with the material but am wondering if I messed up by not doing enough MCQs. I have two days left to prepare and am planning on solely focusing on the mock exams.

Is my strategy here doomed to fail? Should I reschedule in order to practice more MCQs?

    Thanks.

I took FAR on December 2nd 2017 and I noticed that the window was closing, so I winged it with BEC and tried to study for it in one week and took it on December 9. I basically spent 1 day per section using becker and trying to do as many MCQs as I could, no videos. I passed with a 75.

I say study hard and do it, couldn't hurt.

I wouldn't say you're doomed to fail if you truly know the material well. However, I'd also recommend spending the next 2 days doing sets of MCQ and figure out your weaker areas to focus on while you can.

    FAR - PASSED 11/14
    AUD - TBD
    BEC - TBD
    REG - First take 2/16

Did you use the same strategy for FAR? If so, you should be in good shape. Doing some additional mcq and simulations to see where you are at wouldn't hurt.
