I am taking the BEC exam tomorrow for the first time and was wondering how crucial the formulas are for the exam. There are so many of them throughout the book and I am not sure how much focus to put on them besides what I have already done, which includes flashcards with the formulas. Any advice is appreciated

Obviously it would be good to know all of the formulas since there is always a possibility of having them on the exam. But with that said, I would at LEAST make sure to know the basic formulas. If you're using Ninja MCQ you will run into quite a few complicated questions that have bizarre formulas. I wouldn't spend TOO much time on those. Again, I suggest learning all of the formulas, but if you have limited time and/or have trouble with the bizarre formulas I wouldn't be too worried about them.

If you understand the big picture of formulas don't stress on memorizing.
    Might want to emphasize capm.

I recalled that I need to memorize around 50+ formulas when taking BEC….

    REG - 80 (02/13/2015) Roger + Ninja Flash Card + Ninja MCQ + Becker's Note
FAR - 84 (05/29/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Some Wiley book questions
BEC - 77 (08/27/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Half Wiley book questions
AUD - 87 (08/28/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Half Wiley book questions
