BEC Bubble

I took BEC on 4/25/16, and I therefore anticipated my score being available on 5/24/16. I have refrained (so far) from looking at my score in the “score retrieval” site, because I have REG this weekend and don’t want the distraction of being upset – in the event that I didn’t pass BEC.

Just as a tease, I checked my e-mail last night (5/25) at 10:00 to see if I’d received a score report. I had no intention of opening it; only curious to see if it had been sent – nearly 48 hours after the scheduled score release.

No e-mail. Is this an indicator that I’m on the “BEC Bubble”? If so, are chances of getting a 74 just as high as getting a 76? This is making me nervous, but I still don’t intend to officially check my score until after my REG exam this weekend.

    AUD - 77
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 68; Retake 4/25/16
    REG - 5/28/16

I keep being told that the bubble isnt a real thing. I waiting 3 days after score release in Q1 and got a 74 and then the score release before this I got a 74 on score release. They claim that the scores sometimes miss the batch, but I don't think they have a reason for it being disproportionately BEC exams that are delayed. Anyway, you have the same chance of passing as you did if it got released on the actual date.

Plus, doesn't no score report equal a pass?

MaLoTu, thank you for your insight and for sharing your experience.

I wish I could say that no score report equals a pass, but I've passed 2 exams, failed 3 exams, and I've received a score report for all 5.

    AUD - 77
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 68; Retake 4/25/16
    REG - 5/28/16

You will never know until you check your score! Plus I heard a few other people still have not gotten their score reports either. Might be a lag in getting them out. The BEC bubble has not been happening very often either, like MaLoTu said, it happened way back in Q1, but since then I have not seen any delay in getting BEC scores.

    AUD - 69, 77
    REG - 74, 81
    FAR - 75!
    BEC - 71, 82

    IL candidate!

    Finally done (5/24/16)!! Yahooooooo!

BEC Bubble is still a thing. It occurs when you are on the edge and they need to manual review your writing portion.

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

The BEC bubble is definitely a thing…I can tell you for me it was torture waiting on that score. I think it's going to be even more torture waiting on my FAR score after I take it since it's my last one.

    REG: 84 (10/5/15)
    AUD: 83 (11/23/15)
    BEC: 77 (2/27/16) - The bubble sucks
    FAR: 90 (7/20/16) - AND DONE FOREVER!!!!!

BEC bubble is real. I was on it, and I had my bubble popped 4 days after initial score release. I wound up with a 74 on what was my last exam. There was a huge thread a couple months back as it seemed like there were about 20 of us who shared similar fates. Half of us passed and half of us failed. Good luck! I hope you come out on the right side of things.

    FAR - 8/16/15 - 82
    AUD -10/26/15 - 87
    REG -01/28/16 - 80
    BEC -02/27/16 - 74 (very sad), 4/16/16 - 77
