Hello all –

I am due to receive my BEC score on the 23rd, and I was just curious how about the “BEC Bubble” works. I’m assuming your three multiple choice testlets are scored, and then they decide if your sims will be graded more meticulously if you will come in at right around a 75? If you are on the “bubble,” how much longer after score release will it take to get the score back?

Also, how will you know that you are on the bubble once score release rolls around? Will your score just be blank like it always is on the 23rd?

I was on the bubble when i took BEC earlier last year. I received my score about 5 days after the initital score release and got a 75. When i checke don the release date, my score was blank.

Your 3 testlets AND sims are graded by a computer. If you're on the borderline of a passing score, THEN a human grader takes a second look at your sims.

i got a 73 back in November, i must have be close but i wasnt on the bubble. they had my score out at 1 am
