Is there a way to search the full AL when completing the sims… currently with most of the test banks I can only review a few sections, based on the questions being asked in the SIM.

    Any way around this ?

You can request a 6 month trial to AUD standards and FASB codification. Only thing missing is the lack of search bar.

That is not bad at all. I just want to get acclimated with the AL. I am not a good SIM taker, so I think if I feel like I have a bail out plan in the AL I will feel more confident when taking the exam.

It seems like nowadays simulations are more dependent on application of the material rather than definitions and research. You would still need to know how to use it for the research questions, though.

Are you using Becker? They have this annoying thing on their program that only allows you to search ‘relevant areas' and not beyond. It's lame but they're trying to save you time. On the actual exam of course you have access to EVERYTHING. I even used FAR AL to help me answer a SIM on my AUD exam!!

I use Wiley, which is the same way. I don't really use the AL when I am reviewing, but I want to get used to the search engine and how many topics come up. I signed up for the free 6 months and have been reviewing the layout and topic within. Hopefully this helps.
