So I just took audit on Monday, 5/16. Thought things went pretty well, but as I walked out, something hit me. On some of my sims, I didn’t look very closely to make sure that there weren’t multiple work tabs on every sim (work tabs being those that require an answer). Most of them definitely didn’t, but I’ve sort of been panicking that I may have left some tabs blank.

So can anyone help put my mind at ease? Has anyone taken audit and had no sims that had multiple work tabs? Or even better, does anyone know if the exam will even let you finish the sim testlet if you left some areas blank? (I know that the MC testlets will give you a prompt if there are unanswered questions, so I’m really hoping the sims are the same way).

The multiple tab usually consist of additional information you will need to answer the SIM. Don't panic you would have notice if there was a multiple tab.

I have seen sims with multiple input (information) tabs but all the answers were on a single work tab per sim.

That's what I was thinking, but a buddy of mine at work took Audit two weeks before me and apparently had two sims that had multiple tabs that required answers. I think I'm probably ok, but it's still not a good feeling.

Does anyone know if you the test will let you submit the sims if you have blank answers?

I am sure that if the additional tabs existed you would have found that you couldn't complete the question without the information.

Yes. I had multiple tabs and considered that information when answering. However, it was possible to answer without looking that info. This might result into some errors though……

@spanisharmada: like everyone else said I am sure you would have seen the other tabs if it was required to answer the question. You probably would have been very confused while trying to answer if you had not looked at those tabs.

Also, yes the test allows you to submit even if you left spots blank.

@IB553 I did read the additional information in the tab, but as with most people on here, we will panic over just about anything until we get our results. The info was helpful, but not required if you know the information.
