Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone have any tips as how to study for the audit simulations. I took audit twice now and felt the simulations was always a shot in the dark. The report is showing that I am strong in multiple choice questions but weak In simulations. I don’t know how to study for audit anymore because I am somewhat confident in mcq but just really lost in the simulations. If anyone can share their tips as to how they conquer/study the simulations, I’d really appreciate it.

@all: I just took audit a week ago. And honestly the only sims that i could study for were the research questions. I practiced all AL and locating diff topics, bc you never know which ones you're going to get. I think i got both research questions in 15 min with double checking. Which left time for the other 5 simulations. Everyone on here says that the SIMS are FAR based & i agree. So know your basic journal entries. other than that, Idk how else to study. I practiced Wiley & NINJA mcqs, but you're going to get some off the wall topics. Hopefully you know the answers. Good luck…the hard part is waiting for almost 4 weeks for the score!

I personally felt that going through Ninja SIMS 2-3 times each was good prep for me. I felt like they were a good representation of what was on the actual exam. If you understand how Ninja is getting the answers you should be good.
I feel like the actual SIMs are just variations of those with a little more trick wording in them.
