I failed audit with a 69. Stronger in 3 mc categories, comparable in 2, weaker in 1. Overall, stronger in mc.
I was weaker in sims.

I did 6030 ninja mcq. I did about half of the sims in ninja.

I’m not too sure how I should plan my retake.

I think I will go through all of the material from stratch. I will read the becker book and try to get a better understanding of it then I did my first time. I’m not sure if I should use a different test bank now (maybe Wiley or something). Not sure how I can improve on sims but for ALL of my exams (reg, far X2, and now aud) I was weaker in sims!!. So frustrating because I knew this is where I struggled going into the exam, but didn’t know how to prepare for it.

I think part of the reason I failed is because I didn’t know that the audit exam required you to infer things and make assumptions.

This is a hard pill for me to swallow because I only failed Far before. When I failed far, I knew I wasn't prepared. I was too busy with the holidays and things kept coming up that kept me distracted from studying.

In all of my pass attempts, I was fully committed and prepared.

I felt soooo prepared and ready for this aud test but was blindsided on exam day.

I Haven't passed AUD but you're not alone in struggling with SIMS from what I've been reading in the forums. a friend was strong in all areas of MCQ but Weak in SIMS so she got 74. My advice is HIT the SIMS hard in studying. Coming back from failing isn't easy but hang in there. FAR gives a general basis for the entire exam.

I am really sorry that you didn't pass, how did you feel when you were taking the sims? My batch was mainly FAR related and thankfully I remembered the concepts behind the journal entries they wanted from me. I received the exact same breakdown on MCQs that you did, and 6000 practice MCQs should be a rather thorough review for any exam. My only advice would be to make sure you use the AL as much as you possibly can. I think I was able to use it to help me with one of my non-research sims.
