I took my exam a couple weeks ago, but am barely deciding to post about it now since my move is now done, and things are getting back to normal.

My first testlet, I felt fairly good about. I only flagged 6 or 7 questions if my memory serves me well.

My second testlet was outrageously unfair. My questions were VERY long and detailed. The only tactic I could use here was just read the final sentence (with the actual question) carefully and try my best to answer based on what it was asking for. I know I performed badly.

My third testlet, went back to similarly asked questions as the first testlet (which tells me I did bad on the second). I flagged about 8-9 questions on this one.

The sims were very tricky. They were easy to answer (so no issues with not answering the question correctly), but I felt the content of the question and what they were asking for were very difficult to match. I received two research sims (knowing I got 100% right on one, not so sure about the other). The other five were basically educated guesses and hoping for partial credit.

Does it sound like I passed based on others exam experiences? I would appreciate any feedback.

So…you took your exam before 4/20? If so, you're less than a week out from score release; just try not to think about it. Trying to predict scores is difficult, and I think AUD is one of the hardest of all of them to predict scores for. People who think they did well on AUD often think that because they didn't understand AUD enough to realize how little they understood the questions, so they think they did well and end up wit ha 45. People who think there's a good chance they failed routinely get 90+ scores on AUD…and of course there's plenty of people that don't know that both end up passing and end up failing. So, especially for AUD, I'd really suggest just hanging tight till scores come out in a week, and then seeing what they are. Hopefully you'll get a score between 75 and 99 and all will be well. 🙂 But at this point, nothing can be done to change the score so it's best just to not think or worry about it. I know that's easier said than done, but try to. 🙂

“My second testlet was outrageously unfair”.

It's only unfair b/c you thought they were hard.

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

Yup, no doubt about that. I thought it was VERY hard.
