    Hi!

I have my audit exam in 11 days, I read the majority of the becker book, review my ninja notes, and did some mcq’s like only 200, but I still feel like I don’t know a lot of stuff. I work part-time. At this point, how should I study. I have never worked in Audit before. Also, I signed up for the AICPA authoritative literature to study for sims but I do not really know how to use it or what to specifically read, I clicked on some stuff and the material was locked, perhaps I am not looking at the right things. Thanks a lot!

I agree with Biff. Also, for audit you'll need to memorize a lot of stuff, like which tests are appropriate for what assertion and the differences between all the reports, and also the wording of the reports. Good luck. It's s lot of material…

If you can, make up your own mnemonics to help with memorization. I often make up weird/catchy sentences about my pet and friends.

Also, homemade flash cards are your friends.

And again, the most important tip is to practice more mc.

Motivated by JC. I do it to make God proud.

I agree – do more MCQ. Specifically, do them as you are reading. Once you are done reading Ch 1, for example, do MCQ based on the material. That's really the only way to assess what your strengths and weaknesses are. Regarding the AL, you can get links to the AL without going through NASBA. For some reason, they took forever to approve my 6 month trial. I wound up finding the links to the directories for AL. Even though it was cumbersome to have different websites based on the AL I was using, I was still able to practice researching. I took the test last Friday, and my only regret is not getting the NASBA access sooner and not spending more time on the AL. If you are comfortable with it, the AL is your friend. Not only does it help you to learn concepts, but you have access to the AL for all of the SIMs in the exam – not just the research. If you know how to use it, you can drill and find answers to non-research SIMs. Good luck!
