    Hey Guys,

Do you all think I could study for and take the audit section in 17 days? I just graduated and did well in my audit class. I also interned during busy season for a big four firm in their audit practice.

    FAR (05/23/16) - 75
    AUD(06/09/16) - 77
    REG (07/11/16) - 68
    BEC (07/25/16) -

    Short answer: yes.

But honestly, I doubt interning will help with the test. It is mostly academic and may not related to actual audit.

If you are fresh out of school, 17 days should be plenty to get you ready if you study hard. If you do not work, then it makes it more doable.

Also do you have approved application to begin with?

Materials: Wiley book + Ninja MCQ

    FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
    Study time: 6 weeks
    BEC - 87 (April 2016)
    Study time: 2 weeks
    AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
    Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
    REG - (70 April 2016)
    Study time: 3 weeks

17 days is not much time, unless you can study for 8 hours a day. Possible but tough. Interning probably will not add much benefit to the exam. If you were a full-time public auditor and in-charging engagements, then maybe. It wasn't until I in-charged an audit engagement when everything finally came together, starting with the engagement letter through planning, fieldwork, and putting together the audit report. Unfortunately, interning doesn't expose you to all that. Good luck!

    REG - 80 (10/20/2014)
    FAR - 76 (05/29/2015)
    AUD - 68,71,87 (05/09/2016)
    BEC - 72,77 (02/01/2016)

    Done!!!

Take it from my experience do not rush your study time. Put all the time in and pass the first time. If you can, wait to schedule your exam until you are comfortable with the material.

    BEC Feb 2015 68 - rematch Apr 2015 - 84
    FAR July 2015 77
    AUD Oct 2015 74 Feb 2016 71 April 2016 85
    REG Jan 2016 67 July 2016
