AUD & FAR at the same time

I just found out I failed AUD with a whopping 69! It’s ok. I’m not broken. I didn’t feel as prepared as I’d liked to going in. However, I already scheduled FAR and started studying last week. So, at this point, I need some direction on how to effectively and efficiently study for two exams at the same time. My desire is to sit for both before the end of Q2. Since we will not be finding out the scores until August, I plan to sit for REG in Q3. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm tired of operating in fear and mediocrity. It's time to try. It's time to do. It's time to go.

I just tried AUD and FAR.I bombed the FAR SIM due to paucity of time.My suggestion would be to take one for 1 month ( FAR ) and another (AUD )for another month in same window. Definitely doable.I tried twice and suggesting from my experience.I studied 2 subjects and took the exam almost at end of window with 4 days of gap.Looking back I feel I should have taken 1 for 4 weeks and another for 4-6 weeks.

Thanks, Nath! Aside from the FAR SIMS, do you feel studying for only 4-6 weeks was sufficient for FAR? I just started studying for this beast last week and there's so much material–overwhelming is what comes to mind considering I haven't seen most of that since 2011-2012? With your advice, I think I could comfortably plan to study and review FAR in 7-8 weeks. This will leave only 2 for AUD…yikes! I may have to restructure my calendar to make this work.

@kgreen37, Just sat for BEC (76) and FAR (72) 6 days apart. Maybe could have passed FAR if I played it differently, but who knows. Either way, it can be done but you will have no life.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

mtaylo24, I was actually rooting for you coming up to this score release. I'm very inspired by you as well! Your sheer tenacity is amazing. How did you prepare? Study simultaneously? I'm trying to see what that would look like schedule wise.

@KGREEN yes it's possible with your plan.Keep doing Ninja test for AUD , it will help.
Don't get overwhelmed by sheer volume of FAR ,I used to be overwhelmed as it was having too much material.I failed FAR because I couldn't manage my composure in last 40 minutes and first time I couldn't find the research question .The point I am trying to make is yes it's doable.

^^Thanks! I'm going to give it my best attempt. That's all I can do. But, first…I must write down a game plan. That's the hard part. Though, I will take your advice and start the mcqs for AUD for sure.

@kgreen, First I would do a part of a Gleim chapter for FAR, then switch to part of a chapter for BEC, but the switching back and forth drove me nuts. So then I just went chapter for chapter, which worked out better. Stuck w/ that for 3 months. I dropped FAR probably 3 or 4 days leading into BEC, then I was left with 6 days to intensely study for FAR. Pulled all-nighters for both hammering Ninja MCQ before it was time to go to my 8am exam.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)
