AUD Concerns…?

So I’m a little concerned that I’m moving through the AUD material too fast. I’m currently using CPAexcel and here is a little background about my study regiment.

20 hrs/week (usually ends up being about 18 or so lol)
2 hrs weekdays, 10 on weekend.
    Read chapters
Do MCQ at the end of chapter
After through all the material, I do MCQ for about 2 weeks and other review activities.

^ This is what I did for FAR and am currently doing still.

I’m about 3/4 done with the AUD material already and I started studying on 8/8… I take the test on 10/10. Should I lay back on my study time a bit? I was kind of thinking maybe watching the lectures after I get through everything if I still have a ton of time. So yeah idk, like today for example instead of 5 hrs of studying I’m only doing 3 due to being so far ahead and feeling a little burnt. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Also – SCORE RELEASE MONDAY FOR FAR WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO (The wait is painful.)

In a similar position as you. Definitely important not to burn out. However, I do think that finishing over with audit a little earlier than expected isn't a bad thing as audit requires a ton of memorization so you can take that extra time to really memorize stuff that might not have been able too otherwise

FAR- taken 8/11/16....now the wait begins
    AUD- scheduled 9/8/16
    BEC- scheduled 10/9/16
    REG-scheduled 12/10/16

Yeah true it will leave me a lot of time for memorization and such. I think I will slow down on my study time per week for a little bit going forward until 2 weeks away though. I think by the end of next week I'll be through everything. Leaves me with like 5-6 weeks to review and memorize whatever lol. Not sure how this happened, maybe it's because I took FAR previously.

This happened to me currently on AUD and previously on BEC. I just spent the extra weeks hammering Ninja MCQ, re-reading Ninja notes, and going back through the CPAExcel material to brush up on trouble spots.

@Bear-Bear Did you slow down on your studies at all? I'm 3.5 weeks ahead of my CPAExcel schedule lol. Maybe 20 hrs/week isn't necessary for AUD and other exams?

@CrushEverything – On BEC I slowed down a tiny bit, doing 4 modules a day instead of 5. I still finished a week ahead of when I planned, giving myself 3 weeks for Ninja instead of the planned 2.

For AUD though, it was kinda weird…I intentionally went WAY ahead of schedule the first couple weeks so that I could take a week off during a vacation, but when I got back the material was so short/easy that I still zoomed way on ahead in spite of taking a week off. Now I'm a week ahead on Ninja too…but I guess it's ok because I'm actually planning to review sims for once.

I was in the same situation. ONce I finished I read everything over again, and took all those MCQ again. I think it made a huge difference going into the exam.

    AUD 8/18/16
    FAR 11/16
    BEC 1/17
    REG 2/17
