I haven’t gotten my congratulatory letter in the mail yet, but is there anything I can do in the meantime to apply for my PA license? I began an application, but the state board website is super confusing and is asking for all these documents (i.e. criminal background check, experience worksheet). I did the criminal background verification, but I can’t seem to find the experience evaluation form and how to submit these items.

Maybe I should just wait until I get my letter?

Is anyone else having issues viewing the checklist on PA MyLicense? There is usually a link to the checklist so you can see where your app stands, but it seems to have disappeared 🙁

I went to apply for initial licensure and did it all online. In PA I did not fill out any criminal background check forms. Also, if you print out the paper application you will find the verification of experience form which has to be dated by your CPA verifier before your application date. So if the cpa verifier fills out the form make sure the date is before you submit your application online. I had to do a re-review because my application was submitted online before the date that my cpa verifier put on my verification of experience form.

I mailed all of the required documentation. Had my university mail my transcripts to verify my 150. Had my employer mail the experience form. I mailed a check and the candidate portion of the application. I did this all before I got my congratulatory letter. Took 5 weeks for everything to get reviewed and processed. I didn't know all of this could've been done online smh.
