Get into some detail with IT and COSO, have a general/good grasp on calculations, and know the structure of letters/memos/emails.

I think people underestimate the written portion. Like its “only 15 points” – no, its 15 freakin points! I didn't have much confidence in the context of my answers but I knew I structured them properly and threw in as many key words as possible relating to the questions they asked me, so with that I felt great about my written comms. This was the only portion of the exam I scored “Stronger” in and passed with a 80. So I really don't think I even did that well on the MCQs (relatively) but the written portion may have been what pushed me over the edge. Just my two-cents, go all out on the written portion.

    FAR - 80
    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    REG - 85

I scored an 80 too. I was comparable on both mcqs and sims.

As the previous poster said,… IT and COSO!!…

Also, I highly recommend using vocabulary/key words on the topic for the sims, even if the questions is not asking about those terms. If the topic is about the IT industry and changes in the IT world, don't be afraid to throw in terms like EDI, electronic tape, etc. but make sure you relate them to your question.

the test will be easier than ninja mcq's if you grasp the concepts the mcq's make you learn. keep plugging away.
and leave time for the WCs. if you nail those it is 15%.
ask for a handheld calculator to use instead of the online. read the questions carefully. calc the answer then check against their answers to choose. keep an eye on the time. 3 hours goes very fast.

i did learn a lot of the equations by understanding the concepts. when i get the concept the equations are easier to keep in my head. not hard memorization by rote. i studied a long time and feel i should have done better. exam is a bit trickier – do the recently released questions to get a feel. not as in depth but with a twist.
