I am on it today…Cost,capital budgeting and financial management (Bec) spent too much time trying to install drop box. Trying to get my audio working again….I think I accidentally erased it, its somewhere on my computer. I really want it on my phone though. Anyway, I am working noes first half of today and mcq's second half……Full tilt everybody, let's make it count.

@Nancy, Since time is at essence, I would do as many mcq's as possible and go back to the review materials if you get stuck. You're out of casual study time……

Yeah I'm going into panic mode………I have almost all of F10 to do still…I may just do the IFRS part and jump to review phase still need to take practice exams………………

I hope study is going well for everyone….Just made it back from the airport taking my niece and nephew, I'm back at it writing notes for a couple of hours then on to mcq's.

I'm in starting today. It's always difficult to study around the holidays.

I'm doing 5 hours today. Planning on watching four or five (or six) of Bob's videos and doing about a hundred MCQs.

Gov't accounting will be the end of me. Why can't FAR just be over Loss Contingencies and Fixed Assets???

@Nancyd8, I don't know if you're willing to invest but a few days before my 3rd attempt at FAR, I bought the NINJA notes and read/ re-wrote them. They cover most of the topics in your list, some of which I really struggled with. Then I did Becker mcc's (didn't have ninja mcq), and ended up getting an 85 on the exam.

I would definitely recommend getting comfortable with Accounting Changes. Inventory methods are easy points. And of course leases/ifrs/equity. And do not underestimate gov't and NFP! Reverse study day.

I usually study in the AM but I went to family funeral services. As much as I try to explain it people have no clue how much concentration it takes to study for the CPA exam. I hope the long study break recharged my brain. My fear is that with these long study hours I start memorizing stuff and not really understanding. The CPA exam is all about understanding the concepts and exceptions.
