My understanding is that the AICPA Released Questions available to the public are retired questions the examiners no longer intend on using. I recently retook an exam and saw one of the questions on the exam. What does this mean? Is it a pretest question or has anyone had a similar experience?

It means you should use all the study material available from the AICPA because some questions remain important and are used more than one year.

    A | 73, 67, 79
    R | 82
    F | 59, 59, Waiting

They release old questions yearly and they have a sample AICPA CPA exam on their website. I usually always see something on the real exam from that sample test.

There is still a chance you'll see them on the exam. The review providers (like NINJA MCQ) have their software loaded with AICPA released questions from years past.

Jeff – any idea of when the 2017 AICPA released questions will be added? As of now, I'm only seeing 2015 and 2016 for AUD.
