Has anyone else had issues with the AICPA practice exam? I have tried two different computers and it just tells me I need an updated browser on both computers. No matter what I do I can not seem to get it to work. Is it even worth the time and effort? I have Ninja and Wiley review courses.

I haven't really found the AICPA practice exams to be worth the effort. To access them, I'm pretty sure you need to use Internet explorer and downgrade your system display settings. The “exam” is basically 5 multiple choice questions.

Don't bother with it. It is useless. 5 questions M.C. per sections only, and like <5 SIMS per section. It is a complete waste of time.

I found them helpful for each section so far. They give you 5 MCQs and then SIMs. I would always do them once in case any question by chance showed up on the actual exam. I had to use Internet Explorer to access them each time.

I find them helpful as well. The DRS I had for the REG exam yesterday was very similar to the REG DRS in the AICPA sample test.

I found them helpful for FAR and AUD just so I could get familiar with the actual AL and how to search through it.

hmmm..so I should do the AICPA practice test-REG SIMs?.. better chances of getting similar material on the exam as opposed to sifting through the BECKER/NINJA SIMs? lol

would love ANY WAY to cut short these reviews..without sacrificing quality for brevity of course 😉

Hey,

For those of you who did the sample test for REG, SIM #5, Question #5 asks for the tax basis in the new delivery van. I can't figure why the answer is $25,388. Did anyone do this Question and can briefly explain?
