    I received the same email. I did register. I signed up out of curiosity, I guess it cant hurt. This test has been a beast a thorn in my side. Anything at this point will help with my insecurity of failing or my anxiousness to pass.

    It begins with a 75
    Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

    “it's not curved… it's scaled… it's different…”

    I laughed at that as well. We'll never know what really goes on

    I love that they did not address DRS sims at all.

    Partial scores for TBS, you don't need to get the whole thing correct.
    “A good rule of thumb is 1 for 1”, which would imply to me that the total point pool for the exam would be roughly the same as the number of questions or fields.

    The 2018 exam will make full use of the prometric 23 or 24 inch screen, which will be much more functional for document review, etc.
    That should help a little, coming from someone sitting in front of 3 monitors. I can't imagine using only 1.

    1. Use the AICPA, NASBA, Prometric online test resources
    2. CPA exams are not “curved”, they are “scaled”
    3. 2018 CPA exam will incorporate Microsoft excel and DRS simulations won't be as painful because you will be able to use the entire 23 inch monitor's viewing area.
    4. ASC 606 content will be introduced in Q1 2018.
    5. NASBA has rolled out this CPA experience verification service. Check that out. This is addresses the issue of getting a CPA to verify your experience.

    That's the just of what I got out of it.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?
