Those who have taken Professional Ethics: The AICPA’s Comprehensive Course Online (For Licensure) — The exam that appears right after you complete the course is the one you need to pass, right? The book provides a separate link where you can take the exam after inputting a serial number. I am confused!

do you all even recommend studying for this ethics exam then if you can “take” the test before hand to find all the answers?

Just making sure I've got this right. I purchased the hard copy (waiting for it to arrive). I read the book, fill out the paper copy of the exam. Use the code to log into website. take online exam (which is exactly like paper copy?). Then celebrate finishing all the CPA exams.

The AICPA ethics exam isn't the same testing format as the CPA exams. Once you submit your answer for a question and move to the next one you can't go back and change your answer. I breezed through it and expected to be able to review all the ones I guessed on at the end but after the last question I just saw my score. I was super lucky to pass.

I'm reading this thread in November 2020. I just downloaded the AICPA Ethics Exam PDF version of the book by accessing the Resources tab/Participant manual, however, I do not see a practice exam in the PDF book. I found something on page 221 but it isn't a practice exam. Am I overlooking something? Or are they no longer including the practice exam in the PDF version? Any insights would be helpful! Thank you.

I did it last month and didn't see a practice exam, only the real one at the end of the course. May have just missed it though! I wouldn't have bothered with it though, since we have the PDF to reference and I spent a few solid hours with the material.

Thank you Sam, very helpful. I used the PDF version of the book to complete and passed on the first try. There were a couple that stumped me, but I passed with a 93. There were 46 questions in total. It took me a little over two hours to complete.
