So today while I am taking FAR….again the internet continuously disconnected during my first hour. 4 times alone during my first testlet. I was feeling very confident this time around. I thought I really knew the material. While in my second testlet the internet disconnects again and I am told I have to reschedule…in the MIDDLE OF MY TEST. I have contacted Prometric who had me contact NASBA. I was told to “email” them what happened. Now I am waiting on a response. I really wanted to take this test before the 20th and try to move on to another section this quarter. Will NASBA let me reschedule free of charge and will I have to start all the way over on my test?? I’ve studied so long for this…Just wanted it to be over today.. Any suggestions?

Just spitballing here since I've never had it happen, but my guess is that you will be able to retake for free but you will start a new test

I have seen this come up a few times on the forum and you will be able to retake for free. I think they give you a new NTS or something and you can schedule your test. That is the worst thing that can happen especially when you are mentally prepared to take the exam and be done with it.

I would just continue with what you were doing in your review phase till you hear back from NASBA and reschedule.

Well there is nothing you can do but wait on the green light to test again. It is annoying to feel ready and then something like this happens. At least you can retest for free. Thank God you didn't finish the complete test and then the stupid computer decides to blink out….it happens, stay ready and you're sure to pass on your free attempt.

This happened to me with far at the three hour mark. Thesystem completly froze and the moderator came in and told evryone to turn their computers off and on. All of ur answers are saved in real time as none of us lost any of our material after the it dept got us up and running after about thirty minutes of them tinkering with the system

Ouch. What was the prometric facility like? In my head, I picture you taking the exam at an old, low-budget facility. But I know this could happen anywhere.
