My current employer is not a CPA, but he is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. (“ICAEW”). He is an active current member of the ICAEW, but since he is in private business, and does not practice, he has not maintained a Practicing Certificate.
Is this accreditation acceptable for the purpose of signing off on the work requirement for the CPA license? Can anyone who has knowledge of this advise if this is acceptable?
