Hi All,

Based on the CA CPA requirements, I need three credit hours of Accounting Ethics for licensing. I am thinking of completing the requirement through extension course of either UCLA or UCSD. However, both award 4 quarter units which are equivalent to 2.66 semester credits. If I complete the course through them, do I still need to complete the .34 semester credits somewhere?

Hello Mark,

Do not look at the unit count per class but instead per section. For ethics section you need to complete 10 semester units or 15 quarters units. Btw ucla extension is pretty expensive unless you need it ASAP, i would either take it at SMC or at Foothill College with both having the classes online.
