My undergrad degree was in Econ. I have been taking accounting classes at a community college to reach the required 30 accounting credits needed to take the CPA test (I have work experience done already).
Anyone know exactly what they mean by no more than 6 hours in accounting principles?
1) at least 30 semester hours, or the equivalent in quarter hours, of undergraduate accountancy
courses that shall include no more than six semester hours of accounting principles and no more
than three semester hours of business law; orWould any of these be considered accounting principles (assuming yes for princ to financial accounting and managerial and have only counted 3 credits each):
(3) principles of financial accounting
(3) principles of managerial accounting
(4) intermediate accounting I
(4) intermediate accounting II
(3) accounting for govt/non profit
(4) intro to cost accounting
(3) business law
(3) advanced accounting
(3) international accounting
Total – 30
