Curious if anyone has had a similar experience. I received notification from NASBA today that I am 3 accounting credits short (I earned 150 credits all undergrad) of the 30 accounting credits requirement for my state. The “grey” area is I completed an academic internship for credit that was sponsored by the accounting department. The internship was at a Big 4 and specifically in an audit role. With these credits I hit 30, without them I am screwed.
Has anyone successfully been able to get NASBA to approve something like this as an accounting credit? I would really hate to have to pony up more money and time to take a bogus online accounting class…
