    Hi guys,
I have 9 days until my AUD retake. How should I use this time wisely to ensure I pass? I have been reviewing the material and have been doing Ninja mcqs. What more can I do? I currently use Becker and Ninja and work full time.

    Thanks!

What worked for me was doing MCQs and trying to take away one “nugget” of information from each question. I would put a star by the note from each MCQ I got wrong. The day before the exam I would rewrite the nugget from the incorrect questions to reinforce the theory. Did the same thing for REG. After a few days of MCQs, any weaknesses should show up based on MCQ performance. Make sure to revisit those. And the AICPA practice exam they provide is very telling from a TBS standpoint.

As someone who passed AUD on the third time, I would say some MCQ questions are really confused especially reporting opinion. Also for sims, it will be a hit or miss game (my 1st and 3rd time, my sims were doable but my 2nd time, my sims were nearly impossible to finish due to the bunch of supporting documents)

On exam date, I suggest you manage your time to finish your MCQ around 1H30 so you have more time to work on sims since you never know what you get. Sit for the entire 4 hours even though you can only review the last testlest but review and make sure you do it correctly as possible. Study hard, do your best, and good luck. 🙂

Thanks guys! Some AUD questions are tricky! I've noticed that too. And yes, I think taking the large amount of info piece by piece is the best way to do it…I just hope I pass this time because the pressure is so much more when youre retaking 🙁

If you have access to the NINJA notes, I'd highly suggest reviewing those as well. They are a great source of review in the last few days before the exam and I read through them a good three times before I sat for AUD.

Also, the more MCQ you practice, the more adept you'll become at seeing and analyzing the tricks that are written into the questions. If you pick apart the questions, you'll have a better understanding of the question and will more likely come to an answer.

If you have some time left over, do the SIMS that have the video lectures and watch those videos and see how the instructors tackle the SIMS.

    Best of luck!

At this point I would slam MCQs, and as other said, pay very close attention to the wording of the questions. I think Audit is the one where people generally feel better than their actual score, due to the trickiness of the exam. Also, review FAR-type concepts which can and most likely will show up i.e. the important formulas and when they apply, good luck!
