7 days audit – should I even bother?

I’m wondering if it is possible for me to take audit in 7 days. I started studying at the beginning of August, but was very distracted so I’ve only completed the videos and taken notes on each chapter. I also ended up taking a vacation where I periodically look at the book to refresh topics, but I haven’t really been studying. Now the vacation is over and I have 7 days before I’m scheduled to take the exam… Should I even bother trying to take it then? Or just reschedule for October? I’m not working until mid september.

Depends if you feel you've got money to burn. It's difficult, but not impossible, to pass in 7 days, and if you fail this time you can still take it in October.

    FAR- 74, 78 (10/15)
    BEC- 73
    REG- 65, 88 (05/16)
    AUD- 7/16

Yeah I respeck what birdman says. Its risky, but with 300mcqs a day, and the fact that its AUD, its totally possible

    FAR - May 23rd (24th, Prometric power outage) - 89 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)>⌐■-■
    AUD - July 18th - 88 ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬
    BEC - August 29th (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
    REG - TBD ಠ_ಠ

I think 7 days is doable if you are willing to put the hours in. It will not be fun and you will hate life for 7 days but I think if you spend a minimum of 12 hours per day of real study time you can do it. I would only do MCQ's and read why the answer was correct as well as incorrect. Grab Ninja MCQ if you haven't and get to the review phase. That is a minimum of 240 questions each day if you answer them correctly the first time. Expect to do 300+ including missed questions.

If you take it now and fail you can retake at the end of October. Considering the distractions mentioned above if you reschedule you may not feel the pressure needed to buckle down and study properly.

I passed in 6 days by doing about 3000 mcq in those days (it was the end of the testing window and my NTS was going to expire)…just gotta learn the keys of the questions and what they are looking for as the “best answer”. Definitely possible!!

    FAR - PASS
    AUD - PASS
    REG - PASS
    BEC - PASS

    NY CPA- Licensed Jan 2016
CISA Exam - Passed June 2016

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the advice!

    @birdman93
I don't exactly have money to burn, but I think it might be worth it to take a shot at it now, because once I am working full-time I might be discouraged at having 3 exams left.

I definitely don't think my brain can do 12 hours of solid study time… But I can definitely get through about 300+ mcq a day with proper breaks and some coffee. The pressure is definitely a big part of it, I can't get motivated to study for this one because everyone says it's the easiest one.. I feel like I just need a time crunch and if it's as “easy” as everyone says, I'll pass and if not, it should motivate me for the long haul retake.

In case anyone finds this thread and is wondering – I failed with a 71. I still feel like it was worth taking!
