5 Weeks enough for AUD

I am trying to get my AUD and REG exams scheduled in Q2 and of course April is almost full except for the end of the month. Is 5 weeks long enough to get ready for AUD? I was going to begin right after BEC on 2/29. Right now I am scheduled for April 25th but would like to move back to April 6th so I can still do REG in May. I don’t think 4-5 weeks is enough for REG from what I hear about that exam. I want to get both AUD and REG in during Q2 so if I have to retake I can do in Q3 still. Thanks!!

Do you happen to be an auditor or tax accountant? If you are one of those, then I think you could crank that one out in 5 weeks. You just have to put everything other than work and studying on the back burner during that time, no exceptions.

I'm a tax accountant in my second busy season. I spent 6.5 weeks on REG, but took a couple days off over Christmas. Passed the exam.

    BEC 75
    REG 81
    FAR 69, 75
    AUD 71, 74, 84

Yes, you can do AUD in 5 weeks. I passed AUD on January 8th and started studying December 1st. That's about 6 weeks, but I took off the week between Christmas and New Year's. I am using Roger and I only studied 10-15 hours a week. I think what helped me the most is I used the content specific outline as a guide for how to split up my study time. You have to cut out the fluff and focus on the more important concepts.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16

I agree with the above comment. I just took Audit an am awaiting my score. But regardless of whether or not I pass, I can honestly say the content of the exam matched with that outline.

There was an entire chapter of Roger that was a big headache to wrap my head around. I skipped reviewing it after seeing that it was one measly bullet point on that content outline. On the exam, I had very minimal and easy MCQ on the topic so it worked out. So yeah, strategize about where you need to spend your time. It's more than enough time to pass.

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)
    REG - August 27th, 2016

I think REG is also doable in that same time frame, but it would be tougher if you work outside of tax. I took REG on 11/14/15 and I started studying in October. Again, the outline is key. I think it was a fair representation of what was on the exam.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16
