Do as many MCQ's as possible. Make sure you are reading the answers. I understand the AL for research questions…just search by keyword. I am not sure how people are using it for the more involved SIM's. Would be interested to know myself.

MCQ's are important – focus more on understanding why an answer is right or wrong vs trying to complete a certain number. I'd also be wary of going back and answering repeat questions (questions you've already seen) because it can skew your stats, for either your overall average or your practice exams (not sure what review program you are using). I think the AL is very underrated – I spent an entire day of my review just looking at AL. You can become more familiar with it by doing research SIMs, as well as looking up the relevant AL to a specific topic. Pay attention to the implementation section, as that gives you examples on how to do journal entries and calculations. I can't tell you how, but the implementation section alone bailed me out on 2 SIMs I received on topics I wasn't strong in.
