I have been reading the NC BOA meeting minutes from February. Page 59, https://nccpaboard.gov/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/02-2016-Public-Agenda-Guests.pdf

This is not the first I have heard about the exam changes in 2017 but did everyone else know that FAR will be a 5 hour exam and BEC a 4 hour exam starting in April 2017? I don’t see a change for REG, which could use more time.

Also the fees are increasing in NC due to NASBA, AICPA and Prometric fee increases.

Yikes!!! More motivation to get done sooner than later.

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!
if you want things to change, you have to do something different

Longer hours to test, that's bad news.
The good news is that, there will be breaks appointed in between testlets that will not count against the candidate's testing time. Would this be true? Oh well, I like that:)
I always have to take a break even if I only have less than an hour and few minutes after two testlets. I think it's just in my mind. If I take a final practice test at home, I can go 4-5 hours without having to take a break. But during the actual test, I always have to go to bathroom. It usually takes me about eight minutes (signing in and out-finger scan/sign, quick snack, and pee) to return to my desk after a break. I move as quick as I can during a break. I must confess, I don't wash my hands anymore after toilet break (#1 only:)
