I am in my last class for the 150 hour requirement here in Austin, TX. The class is ACNT 1347 (Federal Income Tax of partnerships and corportaions) and I am getting mixed answers from the director of accounting at ACC, my tax professor, and the State Board.
My tax professor said to our whole class you just need a D in this class and it will go towards your 150 hour requirement.
The ACC director of accounting wrote this in an email to me, ” The State Board of Accountancy will accept a D grade in order for you to continue at ACC in the Professional Accounting program, you must maintain a C grade in every upper division accounting course.”
The director of qualifications from the State Board wrote this, “If you earn college hours credit for the course we will accept it. Please make sure that you have not taken this course previously as we cannot count courses twice that are duplicated.”The student handbook says D (60-69) is minimum passing grade.
So I just want a simple YES or NO answer.
Will making a D (60-69) go towards the 150 hour requirement if this is my last class?
