Hey guys, I hope everyone had fun last night and hope the coming year will do you all well either in your careers or in your exams.

I have interviews coming up at three of the big4 and I’ve been googling their interview questions and came across this https://big4bound.com/most-common-big-4-interview-questions/ so how about your experiences should I expect similar questions or should I expect accounting/auditing technical Qs during the interviews? I know there would be an exam, how hard is their exams comaored to the CPA exams?

    Thank you all.

my advice is try to be more interested, than more interesting. must be likable, thats key. doubt you will get highly technical questions.

Personally I wouldn't worry a ton of how to respond to specific questions.
Know your resume and have relevant examples of how each job and activity relates to the job.
Be able to give examples of when you were a leader and what resulted.
Know what sets you apart from your peers (it should be fairly specific, as saying goes something like “I'm super organized” comes off as boring. Try to think of something the recruiters don't hear every interview.
Know your weaknesses. Be honest but don't be brutally honest to the point that it makes them think they can't hire you. Also show what you are doing to conquer the weakness.
Know what makes you interesting. People like people persons.

If you know these things you should be able to answer any questions they will ask. Also, never heard of an entrance test for any entry level roles.

Be able to talk about yourself/give a walk through of your resume. Behavioral interview questions are often used and if you're audit/tax, you'll almost certainly need not to be concerned with technical questions. I've only ever heard of advisory candidates needing to be prepared for such things and usually based off of a given case study.

My personal experiences have always been very casual – basically a conversation, but it can't hurt to prepare. Glassdoor interview experiences for your region could be very helpful if they exist.

Edited to add: Just be normal. The people you will work with want you to be normal. People get so stressed during interviews and can get so weird.
