I have a notebook (which can be whatever you prefer to write/type on) and I right down the information that I got wrong in the question. So every wrong question, or if there was an answer where I felt like I guessed instead of correctly 100% knew the answer, then I will take notes on that question. Later on, I review my notes and repeat.

For some people just looking at the explanation and moving on will work, but that definitely does not work for me. Taking notes helps me learn it a lot faster and it sticks better.

I agree with writing them down. I take notes on every question I get wrong, or sometimes even questions that I got right but that I feel will be really important to remember. Then those notes are what I use as my final review in the last couple of days before my exam.

I kept a legal pad or notebook and would make it a point to take away a “nugget” of info on each MCQ. MCQ's I got wrong the nugget would apply to where I went wrong in answering the question. I would put a star by my incorrect MCQs and would review the nuggets from the incorrect MCQs the night before the exam.

I took notes for REG only. I would not do it again and felt it was a waste of time.
It takes too long to physically write, and the more you rush, the sloppier it gets, and half the stuff I ended up not being able to read anyway.
I did write down a max of one line in a notebook, for every question I got wrong, or got right for the wrong reason.
To each their own, you'll figure out what works best for you.
Taking notes did help me identify my weak areas, as I kept missing the same type of question over and over.

I just wrote my own explanation why I got it wrong. Even if I got the question right, I made sure I understood the question correctly and my thought process was correct. I did not do that with all the questions but mainly with topics that I was weak on.

I'd say it depends on you. The goal is how will you remember not to miss it again next time you see a similar question? For me it depends on the question. If it's a small explanation I know I'll remember I just read it and move on. If not, I take notes on WHY it's wrong. Basically as long as you understand why it's right. I know many on here say you should also understand why the other answers are wrong, but if it is obvious to you why the others are wrong I don't think you need to spend time writing notes on those as well. For me, if I know why an answer is right, then I know why the rest are wrong. But to each their own.

Thanks everyone!. there are some questions i feel i need to write down in order to remember and others i read and move on. its a good idea to keep making notes and go back and review.
