I just took the practice exam on Ninja MCQ, and the SIMs have me really worried about the actual exam. 100%,90%,90% on the first three testlets, and then 50%,100%,0%,50%,93%,76%, and 87% for the sims. I felt like I was fairly confident for about 50% of the sim answers, 25% educated guess, and 25% complete guess. So I’m surprised that my SIM scores were even that high.

If somebody were to do well on the MCQ, how bad can you bomb the SIMs and still pass? (obviously I know you can’t give me a 100% sure answer, but what is your opinion)

Make time to practice SIMS is the only answer.

There is really no answer for that question, but I know that I did poorly on the sims and I barely passed AUD. I got stronger on MCQ and weaker on sims; however, what “weaker” means is a mystery. It seems like you got the material down pretty well as far as applying it to MCQ. Try to work with the AL to answer some questions on the sims.

Practice a few Sims to become familiar with the format and to look at the material from a different perspective. That said, don't overdo it on Sims. Focus on MCQs and the concepts that support them. The phrase “outta left field” is the best way to describe the Sims you'll see on exam day so you shouldn't waste valuable study time on something so hard to prepare for. That's just my opinion though. You have to figure out what works for you.
