    Hello Ninjas,

To all of you studying, good luck & you’ve got this!! ive been there.

Ok, i’ve passed all exams, finished ethics & work at a Top 10 CPA firm. Im confused on the hours for TX. Is the experience requirement 1 year or 2000 hours? And for the 2000 hours, does it have to be billable or just 2000 total? Im reaching my 1 yr next month, but idk if I can turn in the experience to my mgr. We split our time into billable & admin/training/holidays, etc. Because of holidays & just being slow some months, i’ll have about 1,500 billable hours in March. Can i apply or do i have to wait to reach 2,000 billable? Confused.

    Thanks

My understanding is that the 2,000 hour requirement relates to people working part-time or do seasonal work such as tax. You should be fine when you complete your 1 year with your firm next month.

    Congratulations!

@comfortablynumb: Thank you! I ended up asking a coworker the next day & she confirmed the same thing. What a relief! 3.5 weeks left! Wooo! And thank you, it was a long journey. I learned NEVER quit!
