Why is there no Private Messaging allowed on this site?

    there are so many instances where i want to PM people, its annoying 🙁

    can we give it another try? i know jefff said it was spamming related but i’ve never encountered a spamming problem on any forums i am a part of.

    I feel like PMing will bring way more good than harm, if any.
